Almina – Minas do Alentejo, S.A.'s mining concession is located around the mining village of Aljustrel, in the Alentejo. The mining area is 4.7 km² wide and includes the deposits of São João, Moinho, Feitais and Estação.

Aljustrel is connected to the national railway (South Line) and is 6 km away from the access 11 of the A2 (highway 2), which connects Lisbon to the Algarve.

The port of Setúbal (160 km) has charging equipment for bulk concentrate. Sines (80 km) and Huelva (200 km) are also potential ports for Almina.

The international airports of Faro (130 km) and Lisbon (160 km) complete a remarkable communication infrastructure net, which elevates Almina within the international mining plan.
